About This Event Join the Town of Thatcher and presenting sponsor Big Buckle Roofing LLC for the Eastern Arizona College Splash Pad Party on Independence Day from 1:00 to 3:00 p.m. The Thatcher Fire Department will kick off the event with a fun community spray down. Cool off at the splash pad, enjoy family-friendly activities, and take advantage of complimentary hot dog meals generously sponsored by Food City. Hot dog meals will be available for the first 600–800 attendees on a first-come, first-served basis. Children can also enjoy FREE face painting throughout the event. Trailhead Hideaway
Community members interested in volunteering with Girl Scouts will have the opportunity to learn more during an upcoming paint-and-sip recruitment event scheduled for Thursday, June 25. The event will take place from 6 to 7:30 p.m. at Trailhead Hideaway and is designed to introduce prospective volunteers to Girl Scouts and local opportunities to get involved. Organizers said the event is free for the first 10 people who register. Registration includes canvases and art supplies, a soft drink, appetizers and information about Girl Scouts and volunteer opportunities within the organization. The event aims to provide a relaxed and creative environment where attendees can ask questions and learn more about supporting local youth programs through Girl Scouts. Interested participants can register through the QR code provided on the event flyer.
