Cool off this Independence Day at Big Buckle Roofing LLC Safford Pool Day, presented by Gila Valley Mortgage and hosted by the City of Safford. The pool will be open free of charge from 1 to 5 p.m., giving families a chance to beat the summer heat and enjoy an afternoon of fun in the water. The first 200 children in attendance will receive complimentary hot dogs and chips while supplies last. Bring the family and make a splash as part of the Gila Valley 250 Independence Day celebration. Join the Town of Thatcher and presenting sponsor Big Buckle Roofing for the Eastern Arizona College Splash Pad Party on Independence Day from 1 to 3 p.m. The Thatcher Fire Department will start the event off with a spray down.
