Into the Wild Outdoors adventure camps are built for youth who need more than another ordinary camp, while also giving their families meaningful ways to grow alongside them. For several days they step away from screens and noise to experience real adventure, camping, hiking, hunting, fishing, and hands-on outdoor skills-in God's creation. Along the way, trusted mentors walk with youth and families helping them build confidence, Christlike character, and a deeper faith that goes home with them and their families, not just back at the camp site.

Cool off this Independence Day at Big Buckle Roofing LLC Safford Pool Day, presented by Gila Valley Mortgage and hosted by the City of Safford. The pool will be open free of charge from 1 to 5 p.m., giving families a chance to beat the summer heat and enjoy an afternoon of fun in the water. The first 200 children in attendance will receive complimentary hot dogs and chips while supplies last. Bring the family and make a splash as part of the Gila Valley 250 Independence Day celebration. The Sons of the American Legion, American Legion Swift-Murphy Post 32, and American Legion Post 95 are teaming up for a special Independence Day celebration. They will host the annual Moe Villalba Sr. Fishing Derby at the duck ponds at the Graham County Fairgrounds on July 4th from 6 to 11 a.m. The event is free for all children and will feature prizes in multiple age categories. Presented by Energy Solutions and hosted by Graham County, this free concert will keep the energy high and the celebration going as families and friends gather for the Freeport-McMoRan Fireworks.
