As one of her first actions in office, Governor Hobbs announced the creation of the Governor’s Office of Resiliency– uniting water, land use, transportation, and energy policy areas under one umbrella, with the underlying purpose of providing leadership that addresses the compounding threats to Arizona’s water, natural resources, and impacts of the climate crisis. Through the Office of Resiliency, Governor Hobbs seeks to bring state agencies, businesses, underserved communities, and tribal communities together to identify climate solutions that expand job and economic opportunities, improve the health and well-being of Arizonans, and pave a path to long-term prosperity.

The EAC Small Business Development Center (SBDC) is part of a national and statewide network of small business assistance providers. Their main goal is to give local small businesses the tools and training they need to succeed. The Center is funded by Eastern Arizona College, with assistance from a U.S. Small Business Administration (SBA) grant. The EAC SBDC provides FREE counseling to help entrepreneurs find answers to the numerous questions that arise when starting or operating a business. The EAC SBDC works in cooperation with the SBA, local Chambers of Commerce, and other community partnerships.

The Safford City-Graham County Library provides free access to information, technology, educational resources, and community programming for residents of Graham, Greenlee, and Gila counties. The library supports lifelong learning, literacy, creativity, and community engagement through collections, digital services, public technology, and programs for all ages.
